Laser Therapy

Therapeutic laser is a drug-free, non-invasive way to ease pain and inflammation and speed healing for a wide range of conditions, including:

• Arthritis
• Post-surgical recovery
• Major and minor wound healing
• Degenerative myelopathy
• Fractures
• Cognitive dysfunction
• And more!

Wellness Exams & Preventative Care

A wellness exam is the foundation of your pet's health. During a nose-to-tail checkup, Dr. Bahl listens to the heart and lungs, checks the eyes, ears, teeth, skin, and joints, and asks about diet, behavior, and daily habits — the everyday details that catch problems early, before they become serious or costly. Most dogs and cats benefit from a wellness visit at least once a year; puppies, kittens, and senior pets are often seen more often. It's also the right time to talk through vaccines, parasite prevention, and any little changes you've noticed at home.

Vaccines

Vaccines are one of the simplest and most effective ways to protect your pet from preventable diseases. We tailor each pet's vaccines to their age, lifestyle, and risk — there's no one-size-fits-all. Dogs typically receive core vaccines like rabies and distemper/parvo, with optional vaccines such as Lyme, leptospirosis, or kennel cough, depending on their activity. Cats typically receive rabies and the FVRCP combination, with feline leukemia recommended for cats who spend time outdoors. We're happy to walk you through exactly what your pet needs and why.

Diagnostics

We offer in-house diagnostic testing for fast answers when your pet needs them, including 4DX, Parvo, FIV/FeLV, and general bloodwork.

All other diagnostics are sent to IDEXX Laboratories, with results typically back within 24–48 hours.

Dentistry

Dental disease is one of the most common — and most overlooked — health problems in dogs and cats. By age three, most pets show some sign of it, and left untreated, it can lead to pain, tooth loss, and infection that affects the whole body.

At Perry Pet Clinic, we provide professional dental cleanings under safe anesthesia, including dental X-rays that let us see below the gumline, where most dental disease actually hides. If we find a problem, we'll explain exactly what we see and what we recommend.

Radiology/Digital X-ray

When we need to see what's happening inside, digital X-rays give us fast, detailed images right here in the clinic. Radiology helps us evaluate everything from a limp or a swallowed object to heart, lung, and abdominal concerns – often during the same visit, so you're not left waiting for answers.

Surgery

From routine spays and neuters to dental procedures and mass (lump) removals, our surgical patients are monitored closely and cared for with comfort in mind. Before any procedure, we'll talk you through what to expect, review pre-surgery testing, and send you home with clear, written recovery instructions.

We perform the following at our Waterford veterinary clinic:

  • Spay and neuter procedures

  • Dental surgery with extractions

  • Mass removals
